LabX.com continues to evolve as the premier online shopping destination for lab professionals worldwide. We continue to redefine the buyer’s journey and are excited to announce the coming launch of our new website on a fully redesigned platform. The underpinnings of our current platform need updating with some components dating back to 2001. It was certainly time for an upgrade! We are excited to usher in a dynamic and innovative new platform that will continue to deliver e-commerce shopping that is unique in our industry.
We are dedicated to the products that make LabX successful and to the thousands of buyers who visit our pages each day. Whether you are shopping for pre-owned and refurbished equipment, surplus and demo products, or the latest new products and technologies, LabX will accelerate and streamline shopping for laboratory and related hi-tech industries to deliver the most valued experience on the web.
Product listings remain the core of our platform. We wrap those product listings in advertising and product editorial that together create a valuable and exclusive experience. We value the trusted partnerships we have with our advertisers and marketplace sellers as these are a critical part of this amazing community.
Our new modern layout will provide a clean and standardized shopping experience and will serve well on mobile devices. The modern platform will allow us to develop better tools for buyers and sellers, and will deliver these tools more quickly to our audience enabling us to stay on top of changing markets.
Our anticipated launch will be mid-August. As you can appreciate, an undertaking this large has many moving parts. We strive to work hard to deliver the best experience during the transition, although we are keenly aware that bugs could exist and problems may arise. Our dedicated staff of Customer Experience Professionals will be standing by to field questions to deliver any feedback through to our product development and IT teams.
LabX.com was founded in 1995, when Bob and I began this journey in a small basement with a single Pentium computer. Some 23 years later, sitting on computers clustered in the Cloud, LabX continues to stand the test of time and we are thrilled to be making this leap. We wish to thank all of our members of the scientific community, our cherished advertisers, and our core sellers, many of whom have become good friends. We’ve got fresh new ideas and great plans for LabX in 2018 and far beyond.
Let me officially welcome you to the new era of LabX.
